To make the job of gardening easier and enjoyable here is a list of essential tools to get started. Investing in a tool shed is worth it and stops your tools from disappearing!

• 1 x long handled square mouthed shovel

• 2 x hand trowels
• 1 x flat bottomed Dutch hoe
• 1 x 3 pronged hoe

• 1 x good quality hose with fittings
• 1 x 9 litre watering can

If you are starting up a large scale garden you will need 2 extra spades, 2 extra trowels, 1 extra wheelbarrow, a double length hose and 1 extra watering can.
